Quite disturbingly, and despite their football playing owners giving them a horrible image, I found out the other day that I quite like them. This was while I was there to have a poke around at the new Exige V6... Which looked devastatingly effective but really, didn't do a massive amount for me.
I think I might be getting old!

The only modern Bentley that I like is the Arnage or Mulsanne. All the others just remind me of annoying over paid footballers. Those and black Range Rovers.
I'd rather have a Jaguar XJ for a british built 4/5 seater.

I love the Continental - superb looking cars. I have a soft spot for them as I grew up where they're made, and went the factory when it was Rolls Royce back in the late 80s.
One day maybe...

It's a lotus right? so why you called bentley?

Nah, I went to have a poke at the car below, but the dealers they brought it to in Leeds share a showroom with Bentley. So I had a poke around those too while I was there.

LOVE the 5.0 XK (I have no need for an XKR and reckon the 5.0 with a nice set of pipes on it will sound nicer). Sadly way too much wonga. Give them a couple of years to drop a bit and provided we're not at £10 a gallon, I might have a dabble with one.

Exige V6 .... o baby, yes please!!!!!!!!!!

Best sounding lotus I've heard in a long time. Also if they figures are right, it's going to be devastatingly quick. A friend of my brother's is thinking of chopping in his S1 for a new lotus. He's going to wait till Feb when they have a demonstrator then try this, the cup260 and the Evora all in one day.
I've driven the Evora and personally it'd be my pick of them, but I'd lay money on him going for the Exige V6. I was much more impressed with it than I expected to be. It was the development mule so it was rough around the edges. But there's a pretty special car there I reckon.

I rather like the gun metal grey one, my only concern would be how hard the ride is on public roads.
-
Yet to drive a poor riding lotus. They might bang and clank a bit, but the ride is generally excellent. The newer stuff particularly.
-
I really like it but the air intake on the hood!
A small car with V6 engine? sounds like win

THISCARISGOINGTOBEAWESOME!
i need to go rob a bank and buy it!!

I quite like the Exige. In this range I would be looking at the faster TT's too. Says a Mondeo combi driver... :)
-
Hmm... I have a bicycle.
Which is probably why I'd much rather have a Lotus Super Seven, or the Elise :D

Can you fit an Explorer case in the trunk?

ohhh dude...a Bentley!

LOL don't worry. If I do end up getting a new car, it'll be a very, very long way away from a Bentley (still trying to find a way of justifying it to myself... but there might be something on the horizon). I just found it weird that I really quite liked them. Never got up close and personal to a new one, and they definitely have some character to them.
