Hell`o!
Please recommend me some pickups for my all koa Carvin 727
I want to buy djent/techo-death bridge pickup and like a ibanez jam neck pickup.
I use pod hd500, sometimes tube stuff.
I want my guitars have born of osiris/red seas fire sound, clarity midrange, bright harmonics and tight bass response. I plays like a meshuggah, born of osiris, red seas fire and another "happy" music.

I'd say get a Rebel Yell then as that's the bridge pickup Red Seas Fire use (most of the time, I think).
Also how does Koa sound? I'm really curious about this for a custom build

Oh and if you meant Jem (not Jam), try a Painkiller neck. It's ceramic like the Jem's neck. If you didn't, just ignore me haha

something else?

Miracle Man or (bit more mids) C-Bomb.

I have Aftermath in my koa Carvin. That's very agressive and tight. I screwed out a little the bolts toward the bridge. It produce some extra high and hi-mid and help to be more tight cause the koa has great lows. And I use baritone 14-68 strings to drop A tuning and low strings. It helps to be resonant and agressive but with thick strings so it will be tight as well.
Or if you want more highs go to the Cold Sweat or Rebell Yell but they not so precise then AM but more organic.
The most djenty pickup is the Painkiller, I had it in my koa axe, it was a bit thin and too much hi-mid and a bit narrow sounding.
AM is djunty, great crunchy low mids and clear highs but the you must to screw the bolts near the bridge.

when you're using modeling stuff like the hd500 you dont want to hit the preamp too hard. so take a look at the vintage hot range.

Tim recommended the Aftermaths for my Carvin 6 String all Koa NT and the C-bomb/A-bomb neck for my Carvin all Mahogany NT. I dont tune down low all the time (D is the lowest) and do not play djent style, but I do play some techical thrash. I might go with Tim's recommendations when I get some extra money.
