Hey guys
I'm getting a new guitar soon and looking at putting some BPKs into it. Since this is my first adventure into the world of customizing guitars, I thought it'd be a good idea to ask here, seeing as this place seems really friendly and helpful! :D
The guitar itself is a 27" 7 string, mahogany body and a maple neck, with two humbuckers. I play mostly metal, but I tend to use porcupine tree/opeth style chords as well as the standard riffage type of thing (almost djenty, i tend to slightly boost the mids a bit)
What would be recommended for this type of sound/setup? I don't mind if i get a set or a mixture of two different pickups.
Cheers!

I just created a thread asking basically the same thing. Seems we both play the same kind of stuff so any suggestions for you I would likely be interested in also

Oh, I didn't see your post! :P Always good to find like minded guitarists!
After some looking, I was thinking of an Aftermath in the bridge for the metal tones and a rebel yell in the neck for cleaner things. I've seen videos of Nolly and Petey G using them in the bridge, but I'd be interested to hear how they sound in the neck.
