Title: Pedal Repair Required
Post by: Bird on November 28, 2011, 03:56:47 PM
I have a Tube Works Real Tube Butler pedal (the black and yellow one) and it needs a bit of work. Something loose in there causing issues occasionally. Does anyone know a place that will work on these pedals. I sent an email to Analogman but they don't work on tube pedals.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Could send it to me and we'll take a look. Can't promise anything as I have no idea what it is until we lift the lid, but it wouldn't hurt.

Edit: Bugger, just noticed you're in canada. It'd probably cost as much as it would to replace it to get it over here and back again. :(

Nowt to it really, actually Cleggy predicted what it would be pretty accurately when I spoke to him earlier.

I also have an old scratchy wah pedal you may want to look at.
This is not a euphemism

:o

Can do. Never really messed with a wah before, but it can't hurt.

Recoating your two again... Don't ask. I blame Cleggy, I think the fumes are getting to him ;) It's going to stick another week on them. Shobet was lucky in that his coated properly... Really interested to see what he makes of it and how close we've come to the fabled muff of dooom.

I guessed itd be Uk, whereabouts? ;)

I'm near sunny Wakefield, and Cleggy (they actually get built over at his these days) is near Huddersfield. Now that my 1.5 year project is done at work and the track day season is over, I'm over there most weekends at the moment trying to catch up with the pedal fettling. Though typically this weekend I've been roped into working :( I love my job really. Still, should be able to get something done...

I might have an interview in Wakefield soon.

Just needs a new pot matt, but always worth trying to squire some contact cleaner in there just in case you can get a bit more life out of it....
