I just did this today with the Liquid Drive pedal I built by hand, using a TS9 as a boost. Amp is a Valveking 112, played in Drop B. It sounds so thick it's crazy.

That was really good and crunchy, like a mouth full of Pringles.:) I use a Painkiller in the neck position on my guitar, is yours in the bridge?
-
Thanks, yeah, mine is in the bridge of my Squier Strat, might have to tweak this pedal some so it's not so mid scooped sounding.

Hey,
To fix your reverse taper pot issue you can just wire the pot in reverse and it will increase normally you will just have a bit more range at the beginning of the travel

I think I tried that, and it didn't work...but maybe I just switched the two outside wires, and not the center wire with any of the outside wires. Is that what you are talking about?

You just need to switch the two outside wires, that is unless the centre lug is also connected to one of the outside ones then it still connects to the centre but to the opposite outer lug too

Sounds wicked!!
You can just never quite get the same sound as an amp with a simulator.
I had a problem getting a thick sound on amp sims on my PC but was advised to play the guitar part 2 or three times as opposed to just copying the same recording onto different tracks. Still don't sound as good as this though :D
