Title: Slowhand put through their paces.
Post by: chris o'donnell on January 30, 2006, 05:16:22 PM
Played a gig last night and used my maple board strat with newly fitted slowhands.

I would normally use a Les Paul for the full gig but I used the strat.
Tone and power were superb. I do a wah wah solo which cut through superbly without any brittleness.

Thanks for giving my old strat a new lease of life.

Another superb BKP product to boast about.

I tried to convince my mate about BKP Humbuckers, but he opted for SD seth lovers, which are not bad pickups. Just not as good as my own BKPs.

Cheers

Chris.

If I get a strat I'll probably get sultans. Do they really nail the lead sound of Sultans of Swing thru a nice clean amp?
