Not sure on that one
-
yum yum, by coincidence I was playing my Jaguar this morning and thoroughly rocking out with it.
-
I've never had much interest in Jags, but that has some cool features like the modified bridge, wiring and (of course) pickups. I like it!
-
Very cool, but not for me with the short scale. I like it though!
-
True, I'd forgotten about the short scale, although in a way that has its own appeal.
Which reminds me, I'm still quite keen on the Pawn Shop Mustang Special....
-
The Jaguar scale is only a bit shorter than a Les Paul, though, so its not that short. In saying that, I do find myself misfingering notes on the Jag if I have played a Strat or a Tele for a while.
-
Don't let Afghan see you've used the word "misfingering"...
-
I find them way cool. Never liked the short scale though.
-
I did not realize that there were major brand guitars with stock BKPs...quite interresting to see.
There is something about that axe in general that I really like...thought that scale would f me up too much.
-
cool guitar
-
Very cool guitar.
-
I honestly don't want or actually need anymore guitars, but that is pretty sweet, with well thought out upgrades. A players guitar as they say.
-
There are some great mods on that guitar, especially on the switching. It should be a very practical guitar. I like the short scale, wotks well with heavy strings.
Only thing I don't like is the 7.25" fretboard radius.
-
Just watched the vid for this guitar. I hadn't realised how much he was involved in the design of the signature model.
Great video - can be found here:

I think I'd like one of these now.

There's quite a substantial article about the Johnny Marr Jag in the latest issue of Guitarist. And another interview with Marr in the new issue of Guitar & Bass.
It sounds very cool.... even gives me GAS, to be honest! But then when he says "...it's like a Ricky and a Gretsch crossed, but I play it like a Fender" I realise it wouldn't really be my kind of thing at all.

I didn't hear that bit, must have switched off (mentally) for a few moments.
I've had a brief look online but can't find any guide prices. Am I missing something? I know it's not on the market yet.
-
Think I want that one to ! :violin1:
GAK are showing just under £1,500, but no stock yet.

Sorry, I was quoting from the magazine interviews! :)

Not Johnny Marr jags - but these look nice (if you are a jag fan, that is)

With a few simple strokes of the keyboard you have restored my confidence in my concentration levels. Cheers!

The Jag does seem to sound good in the clips. I love his chord work and the guitar seems perfect for that.

I was thinking just that. He makes it look so easy although I'm sure it isn't easy. It might be for some people but certainly not for me.
