Title: which cab?
Post by: maliciousteve on February 01, 2006, 12:30:38 PM
I'm looking out for a 2x12 cab for my JCM900 so i can use it at home. I'll be adding an ADA MP-1 to the mix soon so i needed to sell some stuff (my combo). I don't want to spend more than £250 on a cab as i have to be tight on money this month. I've looked at the marshall 1936 but i just want to be open to other suggestions. Anyone help?

Ashdown do some affordable cabs loaded with celestion vintage 30's.

Or get some pine build a cab and load them with the speakers of your choice.Thats what i did and they sound great!

Jeff at Matamp makes a good cab - he may even do you one to your specs. Give him a call to get a deal....even better if you go up one weekednd with some cash!

AVATAR makes very nice cabs that are also affordable. They would probably also just supply you with an empty cabinet that you can load your own driver into, as well ...
