So i have had my warpigs in my guitar for a couple years now and love them. But as I grow as a guitarist my taste changes so i would like to coil tap both pickups for some nice single coil sounds.
My question to you guys what I need to achieve this? The guitar is a USA Jackson Soloist, 1 vol (500K) and 1 ton (250K). I would like to have 1 push pull to split both pickups and use the pickup selector to choose which pickup to use.

a standard push pull will do it, it can be one either the volume or tone - just buy the appropriate push/pull
it will look like this - but you will use the other side of the switch for the other pickup - wired exactly the same

(should say how to wire a coil split on the diagram)
except with BKP colours it will be green/white to the middle lug of the switch, red to switch or pot and black to ground
the alternative is to have 2x push/pulls both wired exactly as above or wired series/parallel. this will let you get the mixed humbucker/single coil settings

Thanks so much for the info, so just to clarify if i want to use the tone to split I will just buy the BKP 250K push-pull pot and a tech (as I won't be doing this myself) can wire it up as I decribed above?

yeah
i keep forgetting that the main site now has much better wiring diagrams
its basically this one - except you want the switch on the tone not the volume

print it, give it to the tech and tell him the bits you want to change
