Hello,
I have a question. I'm searching for a versatile H-S-H combination.
The guitar is a chambered alder Body with a Gotoh 510ts-sf1 Bridge. The Neck is a Pau ferro neck and fretboard.
I'm looking for a great rock sound that can also nail a little bit of the guthrie govan tone.
Thank you for your help.
Best Regards
Ben

Since Guthrie Govan has a very warm tone, I recommend the Holydiver for the bridge position. The Cold Sweat neck is a good match to the HD in the bridge. I use that combination in my PRS Custom.
For the middle position I would choose the Irish Tour.

nailbomb for the bridge
his pickups don't seem really mid heavy like the diver
I think he has the suhr ssh+

Thanks for your postings.
After reading all description on the BKP Page, I was also thinking about a Nailbomb/irish/nailbomb config. But i have read also that the nailbomb is a very bright pickup and will better fit in mahogany bodies.

the neck nailbomb is very bright
the bridge nailbomb is darker voiced

I think so, too. I only have an SSH, and that is a low mid heavy pickup.

If you want a less bright, middier neckpickup you could consider a Crawler.
