Question for anyone familiar with older Fender amps ?
I have recently bought a Fender super 60 combo valve amp which has two inputs labelled 1 and 2.
I always use the no. 1 input but on occasions used the no. 2 input out of curiosity, when comparing the two inputs no.1 seems slightly meatier/louder than no.2.
I've heard that some amps have a high input and a low input, does anyone know if this is the case with my amp ?
I don't have a manual for my amp and can't seem to find any info. about it on the net that specifies any differance between the inputs.
Cheers for any help

I have a Fender Hot Rod deluxe which has 2 inputs, and input 2 is a lower volume one so yours may be the same.

Could be hi and low input. Mine has two inputs. The second one is for high gain pickups. I never use the 2nd input 'cause the bright switch doesn't work with it.
