Hi all, i'm Tim from Aberdeen, although i dont post much, i have followed BKP for a good while. I recently bought a prewired 63 Pat Pending Veneer board set. I have a question re their ground wires. My fender has three ground wires coming from the volume pot,
1 - to the jack socket
2 - to the claw at the rear
3 - to a grounding lug screwed into the body.
The BKP only have 2. Am i right in thinking i only need to solder the wires to
1 - the claw
2 - the jack socket.
My strat is also copper shielded, should i solder a third wire to the body, or is this not needed.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Tim.

I would keep the existing ground wire from the body and attach it to your new scratchplate's volume pot. Job done!
