Title: does MM neck stay clean ?

hey

looking at at MM set at the moment but just noticed the neck is 17k . Thats one hot neck PU .

My nailbomb neck is great but is on the edge of being too hot if I dig in on a note.its not too hot but any hotter might push it .  nice neck cleans are an important part of my sound through the clean of a dual rectifier

Does the MM neck stay clean without a volume pot roll off ?

depeding on your guitar, it might push the amp a bit hard
it's not super hot or edgy like the neck nailbomb, but it is quite fat, dense and "pushy"

I have an 82 V that has a Dirty Fingers in neck (16K) and sounds warm and nice!
