Title: Miracle Man Lovers
Post by: metalmaniac93 on February 13, 2012, 03:38:57 PM
Can anyone tell me what to except from the MM bridge?  Tim recommended a set of these for my RG3120 (mahogany body/maple top and maple bolt neck) over the C-bomb, which I was also considering.  He sad the C-bomb was brighter than the MM bridge due to the type of wire used.  I have been interested in this pickup before, but have always passed on it.   How is the MM neck?  Is there any alternatives that are good to pair with the MM bridge.

I love MM because it has the right balance of body and crunch . The bass is tight , it has a fair amount of saturated sounding mids and a nice structured crunchy top end.

The MM will work really well in your wood combination .

The MM neck pickup sounds full and quite wild in it's own way - great fun!
I also use a Cold Sweat neck with the Miracle Man bridge which is better if you want cleans

Jonathan described the MiM bridge very well. Can't comment on the neck version.

Cheers Stephan

Thanks!!!  Well I think am going to go with the MM bridge for sure and possibly the CS neck.  I have a CS neck in my ESP Horiizon NTII and I really like it.  Very smooth and clear for lead  shred playing.
