Any dates already or something? i could pop up in depending on the date.

Im dependant on my courses schedule
i go to school everyday from 9 till 12:30 mornings.
from monday to friday.
so im attending a death jazz metal gig in norwa and sweden in march 13 and 14 but after that... ill be free.
ill have german tests probably in End of april, beginning of May.
so if its between . better. because i dont know if ill succeed the exam or not. if so... ill stay if no ill go back to brazil . q: p
and i STILL Want to visit England. France. Russia and Greece. q: p

With advance notice might we tempt a few more of you guys to come along?

I'll be over in England in early May. I'll be visiting with Tim and picking up a new Bravewood. I'll also be looking at a new Wez build, but with his other new 'build', it might not be ready! I will also be over later in the summer, so depending on timing, that would be a possiblility too. I'd need a hotel too.

Yep, agreed - thats what killed the London meet for me last year too, was gonna be over £100 in train fares.
If I know three month in advance, I can book the cheap Newcastle-London train tickets for £12 each way. Sure its the same for everyone.

Sounds like its getting plenty of interest. It would be great to see you at a meet Steve. I know you're always gigging but if you put some available dates into the hat, there's a good chance it can be arranged so you can come.
JP it would be great to see you at a meet too. You would love it! There are so many gorgeous guitars to play! There were a few Blackmachines there last time, they're right up your street. :twisted:

If I can get a chance to attend I'll come along. I already have plans about visiting a friend who's living in London at the moment and playing/listening to some BKP equipped guitars and drinking some beers sounds like a winner.

A bit confused here, are we talking about a meeting in general or a meeting in London for certain? I live in Birmingham, so not too far away, but in general prefer travelling north like Manchester instead of London.
For me though, it's less the costs but the time, that is the problem. I didn't have a lot of free days lately and lots of work on the weekend too.
After Easter would be better for me.

Twinfan and Shobet have done bkp meets in Manchester. This is about a London meet that we have done before in a bar in Croydon. It also gives Jonathon a great opportunity to show forum members his guitars. It's good for us too as we can play them.
Jonathon, do you know if that bar still available to use?
We need to start looking at dates. I'm away in Spain the last week of May. Any time apart from that is good.

What's wrong with it. Saves a bloody lot on Hotels. I've got 2 mates who did. They visited Egypt, China, New Zealand, Australia, Antarctica (yes you heard), Florida, New York and California in the space of a 1-2months for really cheap

I would certainly be up for this but I can't promise that I'd be able to make it. I'm off on a long location shoot in late March for at least a month, maybe two, and after that I'll be working pretty flat out until the film's release date in October. All that said, there's a fair chance that whichever day is picked (assuming I'm not shooting) I can probably sneak off for a bit so I'll keep watching the thread with interest. :)

I need to know the dates about 8 - 12 weeks earlier if possible, just to give me anysort of fighting chance to be able to afford the train fare.
This obviously doesn't have to affect the actual dates, but it affects it for me :lol:

It probably wont be for a bit as I need some time to plan and organise it all, but I'd like to do it once the weather is a touch more pleasant

I would also need to know a good while in advance to be able to get time of work as we now have to book AL 2 months in advance but sometimes if im lucky i can get it in a month in advance.
The pre booking on train fares is also a massive help too.
