Title: which colour
Post by: keith on February 04, 2006, 01:14:23 PM: hello bkps I know its down to personal tastes but I have a Gibson LP Standard in Honeyburst and will replace the pups with BKP Mules. I am thinking of zebras, any opinions most welcome.

Really nice - I guess thats part of the aesthetic appeal of the standard faded series, which i'm creaming over lately.

Reverse zebra's Black Dog's in the blue one.

Chrome covered Emeralds in the tobacco sunburst one (should have gone for nickel really...).

Zebra's look great in LP's, but so do covered...

Post by: PhilKing on February 05, 2006, 01:50:13 PM: The faded burst has a set of Black Dogs with a reverse Zebra Bridge and Raw Nickel Neck. The tobacco has Abraxas with double cream bridge and reverse zebra neck and the goldtop has raw nickel Emerald/Mule. I have a full zebra combination in a PRS. I tend to prefer to have just one Zebra, but that is my preference.
