Title: Another interesting(?) new Gibson....
Post by: Philly Q on February 20, 2012, 03:16:02 PM
Although I'm not a fan of Floyds, there is something quite cool about the Les Paul Axcess model - and here's the budget version (minus the contoured neck joint).

The Shred Les Paul Studio:

Debatable choice of fretboard material again, but in this case I think they made the right choice, looks-wise at least, going for Richlite rather than Baked Maple.

Thats ok actually, I'd have one of those - depending on price of course.  When I was looking for a 'floyd' guitar about a year back, this would've fit the bill.  Now I just don't play any songs with whammy action, just too much trouble for me to contend with.

Somehow it's not right. I like the PRS-trem way more.
