Title: good backing tracks
Post by: Dmoney on February 23, 2012, 07:05:40 PM
yo.

anybody have a good resource for backing tracks? even if its just 12 bar blues loops.
I kind of want to improve my lead playing and fancy jamming along to something after I was on tour doing similar with the drummer for the other band we were with.

I'd like to avoid obviously midi sounding stuff and get something that sounds more like a legit band.

If you have a computer that you record on, this is really good;

you can see a small, and hilarious tutorial here;

The first one is  massive file, but you can just select the ones you want. The second one is just some random styles of backing tracks :)
