:D OK guys here `ya go. I`m sorry this has taken awhile but i`ve just not had the time
It`s my Feline custom build [ The Preacher ] loaded with a set of Cold Sweats. It was recorded using my Podxt, Keeley modded SD1, & my Boss BR1180CD
All the rythem parts are the bridge, the bluesy type solo in the slow mid section is al Neck
I was inspired by a dodgy  Ahem ! DVD of a new cinema fim. Can you guess what it was !
Tim i hope the sound of the Chambered body comes through
Steve i took your advice & turned al of the FX patches on the Boss unit off i`m not sure how much difference it made. what do you think ?

That's a great sounding guitar.
Great job!
-
Yeah, really nice stuff and great playing again! :D
-
Loving the tone and playing :D
-
Thats a great track, would make a great track for a movie or computer game.Very cinematic! I really like the tone on this track,it sounds much more direct and natural.Good stuff.
-
that's it, i'm officially pissed.
Cold sweats sound great too.
Dammit, how the hell will I EVER make up my mind which pickups to get??!! I hope you guys are happy.
Awesome playing and tone, that was great!
I'm going to have to wait for the new site, with all the new soundclips, and then Tim (and this forum) will be bothered by, more than likely, the longest "which pickup" email/thread ever.
-
That was excellent- sounds as if you were inspired by that guitar to me.
-
That was cool!
-
wtf!! great stuff and first time i ever commented on a clip ;) i REALLY like this tone. which pod preset did you use?
-
hawesome sounds  loving it
-
:D Hi guys thanx for the kind words !! :D
I wrote this just to demo the guitar + Cold Sweats. I`m glad you all [ so far ] liked it.
Ok i used my Podxt set on "Jumped up Plexi" with a Tube Screamer stomp box setting, for Rythem.
For lead i used the same but i pluged in through my Keeley modded Boss SD1 overdrive. No Gain but turned the volume up to 12 o`clock. This helped the notes sustain longer.

Excellent clip jt.
Can't wait to get Cold Sweats in my LP when get back to UK.
-
I like this track a lot! Your guitar sounds great! Sorry i must have missed this clip when you posted it.
Man there's a lot of talent in this forum!!
killer clip man! :D
-
I saw the pics of it on the Feline site, sounds as good as it looks. KILLER!! My only complaint is I don't seem to have those notes on my guitar
-
Hails Man, i liked the clips
isn´t it just and impression of mine or the Palm mutes are distorting a little?
Aside from that, excellent playing and tone
I really LOVED the Cold Sweats on the Neck.
am i crazy or the cold sweat neck is Velvety, smooth and sweet? also, very mellow and bright.. how´s its articulation too ?? all questions are referring to the CS neck.
I loved it.
Thank´s
J.P

:D Hi Johnny i was wondering what happend to you !!!
JP you could well be right about the distortion on the palm mute but i think this is more to do with the mastering of the track than the recording process itself. I`m still finding out how to use my BR1180CD recording unit & the mastering is still a little hit & miss.
The CS neck is surprisingly mellow & clarity is no problem at all. I played with the neck on the low strings E A D around the first 4 frets & note definition wasn`t a problem at all. The neck never ever got muddy or indistinct.

I find the tone of this just amazing; at both the neck and bridge. This is really heartwarming stuff as I dropped my guitar off this morning to get a set of Cold Sweats fitted and coil tapped, along with a full setup. I just know that time will drag until I get it back
