The other day I was noddling through some riffs as you do and I started to get some feedback when I wasnt expecting it which made me think my BK's could be going microphonic, when I tapped the body at high gain settings you could hear it insanely well through the amp, even when I tapped the headstock you could hear it clear as day. and when I cranked the gain, the bridge pickup (nailbomb) was the first to start screaming almost instantly after letting go of the strings, after reading past post's about how 335 can have feed back problems due to being so hollow, it made me think, but I have a les paul, so it cant be the same can it..... so I opened up the back to see what "Chambered mahogany" means. basicly, a hollow guitar ! as the poor picture shows its almost completly hollow inside exsept for the wood block that the pickups screw into, nice one gibson for making it so clear that the les paul dc standard plus is bloody hollow ,, rant over

I thought that picture was of your tongue at first. And may I add that you make incredibly hard to follow (as in read) posts? I'll assume that I can.

duuuuude thats so gay!!!
I think that's the only suitable response.

Is this like the Les Paul Supreme? I saw a cross section of it and thought it was an F hole away from being a thinline tele in LP shape. At least in how it's chambered.
-
why of course its the only acceptable answer hoble otherwise i wouldnt have said it would i???!!!
-
no its the dc standard plus , ive seen some pics of cut up Chambered guitars before, it just shocked me cos its almost completly hollow
-
To be honest I rather like the idea, but I'd have thought "chambered" would be more of a honey-comb thing like on the Warmoths.

It's hard to tell what the pic's of, but it does look hollow.
