I havr just ordered a mayones baritone regius 7 ( neck trough basically maple, flame maple top, ebony fretboard and swamp ash wings ) and i know is a high britght guitar so i have chosen cpig to compensate that bright but the guitar is going to be played between one or two down steps ( septic flesh, machine head, arch enemy...) and i wonder if it is a good choice...i have a eq 7 band through the loop if there is any problem but i have some doubts about the choice...what do you think?

i had a cpig in my RGD320 in the beginning. I swapped it out for a painkiller, which gives you that perfect sound for the tunings

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yeeeeeeees. That said, as Madsakre says, the Painkiller is a good choice too, but for a guitar with woods (normally) that bright, and I'm guessing hardtail, I would DEFINITELY go for the C-pig without thinking twice!
I've had a C-pig in my Ibanez S7420 for quite some time now, and I've loved every minute of it!

I have mine in A currently, Drop G occasionally. Plenty of bite and definition still! :)

C is not a low enough tuning to make you rethink your entire EQ. If the CPig gets you the sound you want anyways, you shouldn't have any problems.

It's a 7-string, so it's gonna be G.

Yes, but the main bands that i cover with the guitar will be six strings bands so the most important thing to me is a clear note with the six first strings! I have had a cpig in a maoghany body and neck and flame maple top and i completely love the sound of the c pig! I have an aftermath and i prefer warpig tone
