Title: Pickup Combination?

Playing an LTD H 302, mahogany body, flame top, rosewood fingerboard, neck thru construction.
I was going to purchase a Painkiller for the bridge, and was wondering what matches it well in the neck position. Another Painkiller? I want the sound to be fairly similar, just a bit smoother for sweeping/ soloing.
I'm thinking a matched set of Painkillers would be best, but am wondering if there's a better high-gain "soloing" neck pickup.

Well the Cold Sweat is a very fluid, shredding pickup. But the Painkiller would be the better choice for what you described. Being Ceramic, it has a very precise sound to it. Awesome clarity as it cuts through very well.
