Post by: hunter on April 24, 2012, 03:28:13 PM

Hmmm, some kind of halbreed blade and pole pickup ... interesting somewhat ...? Wonder if it still sounds balanced.

I've seen them before somewhere.... are Reverend guitars using them?

I don't like the look.... makes me think of Morse Code.  :?

What does having a rail do?

What does having a rail do?

Apparently it makes it tighter/more focused and more even when bending...

Which would make you think theyd want the blade on the high strings.. but the poles are apparently going to keep it warm and thick.

Yes ... if they did a nine string with another 3 pole pieces it would read SOS ( ... --- ...)  :D

Cheers, kind of sounds like using lighter strings on the low notes and thicker ones for the top

If I had one of these I would try some 5/6 string sweeps to see if there was a noticeable change between the 2 middle strings
