$% dude. That sounds awful, both the loss of income and the pain itself. I hope you get through this alright. It's easy to get in a rut when you're feeling down so I do hope it gets better soon for you. Do you have any support nearby like friends or family?

That is really awful!
I'm not sure what the problem is, but anything on the spine is heavy stuff!
Hope you can sort it soon!

my back seized up for a couple of days a couple of years ago (think it was just a muscle spasm or something minor like that) and that was no fun. I couldn't put on my socks either
hope you get it sorted asap :)

Oh, that's bad! I had it too in my twenties. You will overcome it, but it will stay a weak spot. Hope you recover soon!

Me too man. My biggest passion is phys-ex. Sucks sitting here. I feel the atrophy, luring...

I had a serious back problem last year, which saw me at times flapping around like a landed fish (felt like I was in an electric chair) and having to stop Karate for about 6 months...
I got put on Diazepam (as a muscle relaxant), anti-inflammatory medz and pain killers. I opted to go to an osteopath - who ran a current across my spine for about 20 minutes every couple of days.
I still get twinges.
Good luck in getting this fixed up, I found the Diazepam helped a great deal as did spending a lot of time laid up in bed.

Tramadol is my friend
STOP the Tramadol (It is a Synthetic Opiate) !!
It will $%&# up your digestive system BIG TIME !!
Have you noticed you have to start taking regular Laxatives ?
That will get worse !
You need to try Amitryptaline (50mg a day).
It will help with the pain, and allow your bodily functions to continue as normal.
I speak from experience.
Good luck
