I know this isn't really the right forum for this, but Sevenstring.org is blocked on my school computer and this isn't, so anyways. I've recently got a Schecter C-1 Classic with the Jb in the bridge and Jazz in the neck, and I am liking the sound of those pickups much more than my Emg's in my Hellraiser. I'd like to change the pickups, but i don't want to route for a ground, so i'm going to stay with actives. My problem is deciding between the Emg Hetset or an 81x/60x (with brushed gun metal finish).
I'd like to retain some of the Emg tone, but have it be fatter and more dynamic.
I have a feeling the Hetset would get me closer to the tone i'm looking for, but the brushed gun metal 81x/60x looks awesome. :lol:
Any help would be appreciated.
All mahogany guitar, 26.5 scale, drop A. 6 string. I like a thick but djenty tone.

NEVER choose a pickup for looks over tone. That's really a terrible thing to do, you'll probably always regret it.
