I've been wanting to get a Les Paul for a while to put my HS-p90's in, but with the quality new Gibbos of late, I didnt want to pay les paul money, i fell into this cheap and i think i left with my soul not getting a gibson. Many of you know I'm a BC Rich nut, so this seemed quite appropriate. I've modded this guitar considerable since I got it so listed are images in order of progression
STAGE 1 with Stock Rockfield Pickups

The pickups def. suits the guitar. I'm not really a fan of 3 pickup humbucker guitars so I would leave it as it is.
-
Thats a lovely looking guitar, very appealing and balanced shape. I'm normally very conservative too.
-
Ah one of the few BCs that appeal to me. There is something sliq about it, elegant even.
Lookwise I think I would leave this one as is, I fear a third PU might disturb "the flow" of the axe.
-
That looks beautiful!
-
I think I still prefer the looks and the "visual balance" of the classic 24-fret Mockingbirds, but that is a very fine looking guitar. The LP styling does definitely suit it. :D
I guess it must feel quite "compact" with the bridge and tailpiece being so far down the body? Almost like a Music Man.

I quite agree, it looks quite short when compared to my USA Mock

Looks great bro!
-
Nice job. Now you just need to put some clips op on here.
:minigun:
-
when i get a decent camera, I will do just that. this thing sounds amazing. Nailing that Goatsnake tone
-
I really do need a Mockingbird in my life.
-
You created a monster with that 3rd PU....
-
That was a bold piece of routing work, brave man!
It does look good with the third pickup, I must say. :)
-
Very cool, great job! :D
-
that looks badass :D
-
That looks awesome! You have guts to route your new guitar like that :o
It's cool that they built the Supermassive and Pig 90 as humbucker sized P90s for you too. The HSP90 category is rather small, I feel like they need a blue note or nantucket modeled HSP90 to fill it out. Anyway, great job, now post some clips or we will find you  This forum is desperately lacking in Bare Knuckle P90 sound clips

i'll get on it this weekend, i'll do some cool clean sounds to really show how pretty it can be along side some really really fuzzed out stoner sludge stuff which i primarily use this guitar for
-
thanks for all the compliments everyone. Routing has become a pretty standard task for me the past couple years. About 9 months ago i did a floyd rose conversion on a gibson V for a friend. was helluva project and came out awesome. Not something i would do personally as i am a Kahler guy to the bone, but it was damn cool and really reconfirmed my confidence with a router.
-
Your Mockingbird with the beast headstock looks very nice.
-
the guitar shape is wild enough to pull that off. i even think it looks better with the 3 pickups.
-
Looks really killer! great job :)

thanks everyone, quite proud of this one. Still trying to get the band I made this for rolling, just too many projects going to get the momentum going
