Hey all, wondering if someone could help me. I'm putting together a HSS strat and all the hardware is going to be gold. So I want to order gold pickup screws off ebay. So what size ones will I need for the bareknuckle single coils and humbucker? Is it the 6-32 American size for the singles? And 3mm long ones for the humbucker? Or do bareknuckle maybe supply them?
Thanks

The pick ups come with screws and springs. I think mine were chrome though.

The pickups do come with screws, but they're nickel plated (or stainless steel for the single-coils).
Not sure if you get gold mounting screws if you order a pickup with gold polepieces.
The mounting screws are indeed American sizes:
#6-32 for single-coils
#3-48 for humbuckers

That's great. Thanks. I don't mind having to buy them, I just needed to know the size! Can I order single coils with gold poles? I didn't see that option on the site....

No, I don't think you can order single-coils with gold poles - I'd have thought it's not possible to gold-plate alnico magnets. Could be wrong, though.
You can get humbuckers with gold (polepiece) screws and gold slugs - but you might have to make a special point of asking for the gold slugs, I think the standard might be gold screws but with regular steel slugs. Again, I'm not 100% sure.

Just to let you guys know I emailed bareknuckle. They have gold mounting screws. And with a humbucker they can use gold slugs and screws, I'm getting a covered humbucker so there is no need. And on single coils they can't have gold poles.

Thanks for clearing that up! :)
