Title: The Guitar Set Up
Post by: tom91 on May 17, 2012, 08:56:19 PM
Hey everyone!
I am a student in brighton and conducting research in to The Guitar Set Up as part of a university project.
The aim is to gather some info in to the topic as i know its always a very personal thing with players as to how they like their guitars set up!

I have two surveys here, one is a really short brief over view and the other is a more in depth study.
I'd love to discuss this topic so please feel free!

If you could spare the time it would be much appreciated and all information is confidential of course!

Thanks!

Happy to help out but I think you've posted the same survey twice there, those URLs are identical.

Done!  :D

That was fun. I usually think I'm pretty decent with setups, but I often go and see Feline and pick up a new tip, so theres still something for me to learn!

Wouldn't trust an instrument with some techs based on the horror stories I've heard here!

Yeah...in fact, the only tech I would trust my axes with of the top of my head is Jonathan from Feline. Have never even met the guy but I have one of his pieces of work and have read his posts here.

I think I got one guy I would trust my guitars with, one guy for amps and one for pedals...all from this forum, never met one of them.^^

But I do most of my stuff myself anyways. Though I would like to be able to bring at least one in to actually see what Jonathan would do....and the others for a fret dress and filing on the nuts.
