I am wanting to install a Bigsby, ideally a B7 model as I don't like the look of the B5, on an LP Special type guitar (slab mahogany body, P90s) which currently has a wraparound bridge.
I am not sure first of all if I need to change the bridge, and second if the B7 fits properly. I have seen lots of pics of LP Specials with a TOM bridge and what appears to be a B7, but wondered if anyone here had undertaken such an installation or would know how feasible it is.
Thanks

Not sure the B7 will fit properly on a flat top - it's designed for arch tops, and the tail might be too long for a LP Special - but you can probably check this with the builder.
wrt/ the bridge, you'd better go for a roller bridge IMHO and have your nut properly filled by a competent luthier.
My 2 cents...
