hey guys ive got a second hand hesperian 7 coming in. mahogany body, maple neck, ebony fret board, with a floyd rose bridge. Im thinking calibrated set of rebel yells! i have a rebel in a esp eclipse II and love it. I also have a vhII in the neck of that guitar and i think its a little to vintage sounding for me. i want a neck pickup and is more fluid and tracks better, basically faster and more fluid vs thick. i will probably have the guitar set up for e standard with the low b. what are your thoughts?

ooo...blackhawks look promising as well!

For similar to the rebel yell but thick and more fluid I gave no doubt in my my that you want holy divers.

Coldsweat, Emerald, or Nailbomb neck.

i dont think the rebell in the bridge is going to be modern enough for me. thats what i like about the rebell it can go either way. I also want a matching set. i guess they are making custom alnico blackhawks. Has anyone played them yet?

i dont think the *holy divers* will be modern enough for me

What music will you be playing?
The Holy Divers are extremely versatile can sound from vintage to môdern very easily.
If that's not modern enough though then I recommend the calibrated Cold Sweat set.

I play death metal on my holy diver equipped guitar with no problem. The lowest tuning I tried with it was c standard and it sounded great, still tight with 10-52 strings :)
