Just got my Irish Tour on Saturday, installed it in a project guitar of mine, Ibanez RX 350 HSH. Already had a Mule in the neck and a Riff Raff in the bridge. All I can say is I couldn't put the guitar down for hours and that was just plaing on the Irish Tour. This project guitar has now become my go to guitar, not to take anything away from my Eric Johnson Strat. These pickups are the best, thank you Tim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you got rid of the mule and RR? And congrats!

Congrats! The IT's are great. I even use the middle (single) myself on my HSS-strat.

Yeah,
and they sound pretty good in a swamp-ash-strat with maple fretboard, too !
First I expected the bridge postion to be hotter, but know (after comparing it to my other strats) I recognize that it has a bit more of mids and warmth that makes the difference !
( I wonder why some people say they only fit with rosewood-fretboards....)

I kept the Mule and Riff Raff and put the IT in the middle, perfect match

My IT's are in a swampash/ebony fretboard MXG customstrat (made by Patrick Eggle) and they do a pretty good job, considering the woodcombination makes it a quite percussive, dynamic axe.
