I'm having a custom 7-string built--nearly identical to an Ibanez Apex II--that will have a TonePros 7 bridge. The guitar is still 2-months from being finished, but I'd like to order a calibrated set of Aftermaths NOW as it takes weeks for them to arrive here in the US. I think I need "standard spacing" rather than "wide" but I'm not entirely sure. Does anyone know?
I like to avoid emailing Tim if possible, as I know how busy he must be. Thanks in advance.

I've never bought a 7 (or 8 ) string pickup, so I may be wrong, but I think the choice of standard or wide spacing only applies to 6-string humbuckers.

Hmm, the reason I ask is because I currently own a calibrated set of Aftermaths for my 7-string RG1527M. The box was marked "Wide Spacing"... so I assumed it applied.

I was going by the "Dimensions" diagrams in the Support section of the BKP site. There's only one diagram for 7-string pickups (well actually there's also one for an "Angled 7-string" but I don't even know what guitar that's for):
https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/dimensions.php (https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/dimensions.php)
Spacing is given as 61.4mm, which would be equivalent to about 51.2mm on a 6-string. So that's in-between the standard and wide spacings for a 6-string pickup...!
I guess the best thing to do is to email BKP to confirm if there really are different spacings available for 7-strings.

I finally emailed BKP, and indeed 7-string p/u's are fixed spacing. So, it looks like the shop I bought the pickups from ticked the "wide spacing" box when they shouldn't have. Glad to finally have that mystery solved!

Good to clear that up! :D
