Hi.
few days ago, i bought PRS Mira Jet white.
This guitar is thin mahogany body, mahogany neck with rose wood finger board.
when i play Mira with AXE-FX ii, it sounds great.
But Today i sell AXE and buy EVH 5150 III 50Watt head.
unfortunately, i feel sounds muddy and harsh.
so i going to try change stock pickups to BKP. i want to tight bass sound.
check my recording sample and could you tell me your opinion?

Thanks!

I would go Rebel Yells: punchy, bright and tight enough for metal, but still alnico-warmth. I guess RiffRaffs + booster would work too.

I think you nailed it there. Nothing more to add for me.

I owned a Mira for a couple years. I found it quite dark sounding. In essence, it's PRS's version of an SG (IMO). Though I've never used them, I would say that Riff Raffs would be excellent, based on the sound clips I've heard. That would have been my choice for the Mira that I owned.

I don't know about getting the sound on your clip, but I would go Cold Sweats for a Mira. Or Riff Raffs for a more vintage tone.
