Roughly as cheerful as an Irreversible, Martyrs and Funny Games triple bill.
From a split that comes out soon but we've stuck three of the six tracks up on bandcamp in advance. Mark did a swish job and is a marvelous character to work with.
EDIT: If folks are at all interested it's all recorded by me in my house in Pro Tools. Mostly with Guitar Rig 3 and a Parker Fly Classic with a Ceramic Warpig bridge. There's also a stock '08 Les Paul Standard and a Blackmachine B2 with Painkillers on one of the tracks there.

My pleasure duder, likewise - well engineered, played and fun to work with (and on).
Theres a tremendous amount going on in these songs; very well composed (doubly so since the complexity doesnt get in the way of, in fact, works in aid of the intended coarse and hellish vibe), I highly recommend a listen for those that like the most brutal end of things. I know youre out there.

Well, I entered with fear and trepidation... But I came out the other side with no obvious injuries :lol:
I'm never going to listen to this kind of stuff with any regularity, but I was well impressed. Really glad I've heard some of your stuff now.
And yeah, there is a huge amount going on in the arrangements. Like MDV says, it doesn't get in the way but aids it all. It's almost as if hearing the musical complexity - which I understood - got me into hearing and appreciating each track as a whole.
Nice one :D

I enjoyed this thoroughly more than I anticipated. This is excellent stuff.
A++ would listen to again.

Cheers chaps. Appreciate it.

Tried listening, but the wife came back from the gym and glared at me.
Will check it out later, what little I heard has me in the AndyR camp - appreciative, but it will never set my world on fire.
Just out of interested, and fully aware of my ignorance, how would you describe that, genre-istically speaking?
-
Dunno really. I suppose it's grindcore for the most part. There's near as much black metal in there as there is grind, though.
-
Love it, but would've liked more weight in the kick drums - it doesn't PUNCH like I expect when played loud.

Brilliant stuff mate, but I've known this for a long time anyways :)
