Hi there, I am looking for the right Humbucker that will make my custom RAN baritone guitar a beast. The body is mahagony, also the neck with a rosewood fingerboard, neck through and stringthrough setting.
I play heavy groovy metal with the right punch. I actually play a TB5 from seymour duncan. I am quite satisfied. I am just wondering if my guitar would benefit with a Warpig set in it.

a ceramic nailbomb would be a great replacement

Black dogs are supposed to be amazing in baritone guitars. Really defined highs and a much tighter bottom end.

black dogs? do you mean black hawks?

i am wondering what kind of baseplates i need then, the tb5 has the following measurements http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/dimensionpages/tb5.shtml (http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/dimensionpages/tb5.shtml)
i guess i will need also the 53mm bridge spacing then , if i use a trembucker at the moment, that comes with the guitar ;)

He meant Black Dogs. They're very midrangey and said to even out the increased bass and treble of a baritone guitar. Though Blackhawks would probably sound good too.

to be honest, the black dogs sounds great, the nailbomb and the black hawk is really fine, but sounds more sleeky or smooth.
