Hi my name is Diogo, just before I ordered a VHII I got new questions.
I have read ppl sayin that this HB splits well, but the main reason I chose this HB was to avoid the volume difference in my guitar and of course have a better HB. I hate the volume difference between my CS Texas Specials and SD Pearly Gates so I went for vintage output and reccomended by Tim the VHII.
Because of me wanting less volume difference should I just make it simple to use and put it far from the strings(lower) with stock 5 way switch.
Or if I want it to split should I put the VHII closer to the strings so that when i split it doesn't get to low?

Olá Diogo. I would just find the sweet spot on the pickup height in terms of tone and leave it there. Then split it when wanted via push-pull knob. Don't overthink it ;)
