Title: Best Max Cavalera Tone Pickups for an ESP LTD EC-401

Folks:

I am redoing all of my pickups with Bare Knuckles.  Yes it is costing me a pretty penny.  I have an ESP LTD EC-401 that I want to get that Max Cavalera sound out of.  Any suggestions.  Thanks a lot for you help in advance!!!!

Well, the Nailbomb was named after Max Cavalera's side-project, so I'd say you won't go far wrong getting one of those.

just figure out if you prefer alnico or ceramic

Max uses Duncan Distortion in his guitars so I would suggest you get closer with Painkiller...

The Nailbomb IS the obvious choice. There's a ceramic version as well.

Max has used Duncans for a long time now.  Don't forgot to string it with only the bottom four strings  :D
