Title: Looking for a bassist based in London for a post-metal band

Hey guys,

First off, if this in the wrong area, I apologize. Feel free to move it moderators, however it didn't quite seem to fit into any of the other forums!

My band is looking for a bassist. This is us:

I guess we write atmospheric, cinematic, arty metal... pretty conceptual, and heavily instrumental. Plenty of freedom for a bassist to come up with interesting rhythms and riffs. We're looking for someone comfortable with compound time signatures, and who can provide a groove - elements of drone and effects usage would be great too.

We've had some pretty reasonable success with our two albums. We've been reviewed in Metal Hammer, Rocksound, and on the various music blogs on the internet - our 2nd album 'Exegesis' has been received very well. We've supported bands such as Pelican, Astrohenge, Latitudes, Rinoa, and Manatees - plus loads more.

We're looking for someone to learn existing material and also contribute heavily to the writing process for our future material. Check out our stuff and let me whether you'd be interested in auditioning - if you are, I can send you some tracks to learn, and we can get an audition together.

I'm about 350 miles away and only play bass when I have to, but best of luck with this. Post metal is a much underrated and undernourished genre.
