One of these:
http://www.astonelectronics.co.uk/guitar-effects-pedals.html
Bought from a mate who offered it to me for a great price-he having bought an Xotic AC +
I gigged it the other night and enjoyed it- has a nice warmish tone and works very well with not too much gain. The other controls work well though I more or less had everything set around the mid way. Turning down the volume of my guitar cleaned up well and the "body" control had the effect of adding, erm, body to the tone which I interpret as being a control that seems to change the thickness of the tone though quite subtle- though I wasn't paying too much heed after I had it set how I like it as I had a gig to play. At one point I thought the audience appreciated the effort as they burst into applause part way through what I would laughingly call a solo but it was actually the Olympics that they had thoughtfully left running on a tele in the bar. When I get time I will put it through its paces to satisfy my curiosity. This was an opportunistic purchase and was not planned.

Sounds like a great pedal, congrats!

Looks like an interesting pedal. I wonder what circuit it uses.

I liked the demo particularly as it was done with a S/S amp. What are you playing it through ?

At gigs it is a Laney VC30. At rehearsals it'll be a Laney Cub.
I've no idea about circuitry gwEm I'm afraid.

I have a Laney VC30 2 x 10. I'm not using it at the moment but I gigged it for a couple of years using o/d pedals through the clean channel only and it sounded great. I really must catch up with your band at some point. We played The Elms in Worthing last week. Not many people there but the pub say they're struggling to get the punters in for any of the bands.

Yeah Richard, the VC30 is a good amp. I also have the 2 x 10. I can run mine at half power too which is nice.
I haven't played the Elms for years. We did the Malt Shovel last week and the Tanners the week before. I am at the Queens Head in a few weeks and the Star at Roffey too.
Sadly the audiences are a bit sparing these days. We are lucky in that we have a good crowd who turn up a fair bit and a couple of times have been lucky when there has been a party at the venue.
