Ok. When I started buying bare knuckle pick ups, I went a little overboard and bought a ton of different sets of pickups. I even gave some away to my friends. Now I have a set of miracle man pickups and no guitar to put them on. My solution: by another guitar! I pretty much play death metal. Everything from Grave to Fit for an Autopsy. Now with that in mind, what guitar would you buy to put the miracle man pickups on? What sort of tone/sound would it give the guitar? Any and all insight appreciated!!!!

you 'gave' sets of pickups away?

Bubinga! Works beautifully with the MM for brutal work. The MM also sits very nicely in basswood if you're after something off the shelf.
Hope this helps

I've had pretty much all contemporary bkp's, and i think of the miracle man as the one i liked the least. I know you plan on running it through a hm-2 from time to time. I found that it almost neutralised the pedal, compared to the other guitars i had. I missed the snarl that the hm-2 usually provides :(
I know its your choice, and i gain nothing by telling you this. But i just wanted to share my experience with it.

Can I be your friend?

Yes I gave pickups away. They were seymour duncans. They were for my friends son's guitar. Yes you can be my friend. I run my stuff through all kinds of different pedals, and amp heads. Not just an HM-2. I'm just wondering. If you were to buy any stock guitar you wanted to put a set of miracle man pick ups on to play death metal, what stock guitar would you buy???

Hmm some basswood ibanez would work rather nice. You'll get some mids from the wood, and the full bass & treble from the MM. :)
