Title: Any cool instrumentals to learn?
Post by: .50 Caliber Bob on August 19, 2012, 06:49:39 PM
Hi folks,

I am looking for some new instrumental pieces to learn, I am not talented enough (or dedicated enough!) to be able to pull off the likes of Satriani or Vai, and I don't really like their music anyway!

I have learned loads of Shadows stuff, and lots of the usual instrumentals (e.g. Albatross etc).

At the recommendation of someone on here I learned "Rumble" which is so simple but very fun to play.

Anyone got any suggestions? What are your favourites to play?

Thanks!

Anything by Rush. Challenging but not too much so, and always lots of fun.

just a few mental ones I can think of:

jews harp, theramin, kalimba, saw+bow, Oud, Balalaika, armonica (glass harp), as long you as you get to re-amp them
