Title: Best CAPACITOR for 500k pot and BKP Black Hawks
Post by: rcsierra13 on August 23, 2012, 10:21:32 AM
Don't know much about tech but am about to give putting this set into my RGA321 a go. Need to know what would be the best MF capacitor for this.

I would use a 0.022uF cap - either an orange drop or a jensen oil and paper if space and funds allow

Orange drops are pretty good, but since I tried paper in oil I wouldn't want to go back.

I'm going to be adding to the Jensen 0.22 to my guitar, but I also wanted to ask a question on this subject, too:

I'm also attatching a treble bleed rated either 330pF or 560pF and wondered what's the best brand of capacitor for this?

When I've added treble bleeds I've just used an orange drop - worked fine without excessive cost

Where space is tight the Xicon MPPs are a very good option as tone caps.
