I just wondered does anybody have a picture of this as I want to upgrade the one in my Ibanez S570 as I'm ordering my pickups tomorrow but I'm unsure if it will fit. The Ibanez S has quite a tight and shallow cavity, so I just want to be sure.
Cheers,
Nez

crl switch wont fit in an Ibanez S series - too deep

I'm not able to post pics, but a place called guitarelectronics.com has them. They have several pics and wiring diagrams as well. They have a variety of 5 way switches. You can at least find some info there. :)

Thanks for that. I guess I can keep the old switch, but would I do better with a new one? I'm just unsure about quality.

there are 2 types of switch that Ibanez use on these
One is the complex VLX91 and the other one is a cheaper/simpler style but still workable
A word to the wise if ordering pickups with the intention of keeping a;l the Ibanez sound options
Check the polarity of the two magnets in the humbuckers with a compass or magnet
you may find that the neck pickup has a reversed magnet on certain Ibanez pickups
Ideally just identify which coils are north and which are south (or in simpler terms - which are the same polarity as the single coil in the middle and which are not
You may find that some splits require certain polarities to have the signals in phase and also achieve hum cancelling
If you are choosing to have this with the new pickups it will be important for you to know!

It's the basic HSH, so I'm guessing when I order my new pickups, I will only need to order the centre singlecoil RWRP?
