Sold a Blackstar HT Dual pedal on eBay today, so placed a deposit on Irish Tours and a Trilogy for the bridge. Baseplates, vintage stagger and aged parchment pickup covers (I've custom made my own bone style covers to go on....)
BKP 280 pots for the tone and Jenson BKP cap.
So I'm really off and running on this from the ground up project.
So far have my Warmoth Birdseye maple neck. That's at the neck doc getting a decal professionally applied and then nitro'd.
I've got my Suhr noise reduce backplate. These are designed as an earth turning eliminating the 60 cycle hum without producing that sterile tone noiseless pickups have. I have my S1 switch and knobs (aged white). I want to be able to turn the noise plate on/off if I want as an option. There just Malay be times the hum becomes 'useful' or genuine... I'm getting the BKP boxer and humbucker logo printed onto the backplate.
I've got (somewhere) a genuine Fender mint pickguard.
I've put a deposit on a Fender Deluxe tweed case with the wine red interior. Only 6 left in Australia, so at least it's waiting there for me.
After the pickups is the Callaham tremolo assembly, and switches etc, locking Tuners from Warmoth....
And then last thing is the body. Pearloid Olympic white from Warmoth. But that's at Christmas. About 5 months away....

Frick frick frick frick frick.........
My wife just saw this thread as I left it open on the iPad.
I think my Christmas is now going to be October next year, and cost me a lot more in shoes than I bargained for.... :x

But that's at Christmas. About 5 months away....
Dude, that's 3 months away.
You could assemble it over the next month or so and leave in the case till Christmas day.

I'm a little lost

I'm lost too but I think the problem for this man is that he has some guitar parts but no balls.
-
I've got balls.
My missus owns them.....
Christmas is when the guitar is finished.... One part at a time. I figure Feb next year by the time I get everything - but I'm most excited about the neck and the pups.
