Title: best wiring for me?
Post by: steve1991 on September 22, 2012, 11:41:04 AM
I have a Gibson 61ri SG which will soon be getting a pair of Bare Knuckle Mississipi Queen humbucker sized p90s.

Now what im wondering is what pot and cap values i should use.

I was thinking was the bare knuckle 500k volumes and 250k tones.
Also its audio taper pots i should use right?

As for capacitors i was thinking 22 on the bridge and 15 on the neck?

Your best bet would be to message Feline Guitars here in the BKP forum, or just wait till he or someone else (who actually knows the answer unlike me) answers the thread :)

Cheers

500k log (audio) taper for both.

With the MQs I'd go with 22nF caps both both, not a 15nF in the neck like you might with humbuckers.
