Ok, so basically I have decent guitar but it obviously lacks even more decent BKPs. The guitar is 7 string, thick mahogany body with quilted maple top, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. It has Blaze7(bridge) and PAF7(neck). Generally it sounds a bit too dark and the sound lacks of definition.
I play mostly death metal (different forms, kinda Katatonia, Carcass thing) but also... fusion. Yeah.
So I was thinking about Aftermath set, but... I guess it would be a bit too harsh sound for me.
So will Nailbomb Alnico V (bridge) + VHII (neck) or Nailbomb Alnico V set do the work?
Any more suggestions? I prefer organic, huge sound than scooped, laser-tight.
Thanks in advance.

If you prefer organic tone to laser tight I think the Nailbomb would be better than the Aftermath. The alnico Nailbomb is pretty tight, but you might want a ceramic. I think there's a few neck pickups you can succesfully match with the Nailbomb bridge - Cold Sweat, VHII and Emerald would be my suggestions if you don't want a calibrated set of Nailbombs. You might also considder a set of Blackhawks. They should be great for death metal as well as fusion.

Blackhawks came to my mind as well.

Well, to be honest, black hawk is totally not in my taste. I tried it in another guitar and sounded too much scooped. I don't like to hear too much 'twang' when playing with high gain...
In the second hand - I don't have too much experience with BKP.
In the third hand (:D) - I don't have so much money to buy 10 pups and change them, test them...
What I need is smooth, warm, natural, a little punchy and mostly heavy (think of a road roller driving through the building) tone. Plus a lot of definition, minus irritating treble twang (a little treble is ok, just for some crunch and bite). POWER is everything.
Thus - my aim is Alnico.

Of power is your game and you don't want too much treble then alnico warpig is the way to go.

That description makes me think of the warpig too. Organic Brutalz in a box.
Only concern would be that they could be slightly too dark. One possible way to fix that would be 1meg pots, which some forum members have stated go very well with the WP.

Can't tell about the Warpig, but I wouldn't describe the ABomb (bridge) as "smooth", quite on the contrary - not harsh but very agressive.

I find the NB by default harsher than the AM. It really depends on guitar, but it can be. From what youre asking for, get an A-Pig.
