Title: XY midi controller in guitar

I was just checking out guitars with xy midi controllers (like Bellamy of Muse) because I think it's a fun way to release some sonic destruction and then I stumbled upon this site.

Anyone who has any experience with amptonelab's xy midi controller? They seem very reasonably priced and easy to install compared to getting a Manson Bellamy guitar or ripping a Chaoss Pad apart and install it in a guitar.

We completed the fitting of one last week but we didn't get to test it or use it sadly.

Argh. Too bad. What's your initial thoughts about the unit? - if you can say anything without having tried it.
