Folks:
My friend and I build custom guitars and hot rod guitars. I am working on an old dinky now. Will be gun mental body and a gun metal head stock. Looking for a Meshugga/death metal sound. I have an aftermath that I will be putting in the b, and wondering what I shoud put in the neck? Holy diver? Nailbomb? Painkiller? Just wondering if anyone has a suggestions for what I should put in the neck. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
John

What kind of neck tone are you looking for? You could go for an Aftermath neck which seems the ovious choice. The Cold Sweat neck is an old time favourite of the BKP metal crowd for its fluid lead tone. I don't know how it'll match up with an Aftermath though.

As Mr. Air said there are multiple options, AM and CS neck being the most obvious.
I personally really like the AM neck (no experience with the CS), it is often overlooked when it comes to neck PUs. It reminds one of the early Petrucci tone. Just a great shred neck pub all around.
