Some of you who've been paying attention may have noticed I've been after a Bigsby B7 for a while. Well, the perseverance has paid off and I've found one locally. Not sure how old it is, but its definitely far from spankin new - matches my Les Paul perfectly.

Very cool mate, love it!
-
Can't wait to go mental with it on Rockin In The Free World - its the last song of our first set so I can go crazy on the Bigsby :D
-
Looks really cool! I notice you haven't used all the mounting screws, is it held on by the strap button?
-
Like that - nice one!
-
Congrats, looks cool!

He had to save something to put under the bed...
I didn't think I was going to like the look of it... but whoa! So wrong... looks FAB :D

It does, but I was wondering it it might obstruct the knobs a bit on an LP?
If I ever get round to fitting my B5, I'm going to try it on an LP Special and an SG, to see where it works best.

that surely looks great Ian.. I have no idea about the change to the tone/whammy performance, but it is very cool 8)

Awesome!

For the eagle-eyed among you, its not screwed down yet - I just laid it over the top of the guitar to get a feel for how it'd look. I got the mounting screws tonight, so tomorrow I'll fit it after work.
-
It looks super old school in a good way :D
-
I've never really been a fan of Bigsbys, but on that guitar it just looks right :D

I've took my time with this one rather than diving in since I don't want to be plugging and redrilling holes. The drill is charging up so later on it should be Bigsby time once I string her up.
I've always called this guitar 'Old Black' after Neil Young's old warhorse, but now its even more like his with the Bigsby.
