Right.
I've got a Jackson Kelly & a Gibson Explorer which are both fantastic playing (and sounding) guitars, but in a bit of a sorry state in the looks department; Battered, not relic'd. Also, when I was younger I stuck a great big Jagermeister sticker on the back of my Gibson which has ruined the finish.
I'm thinking of stripping the bodies down to bare wood on both of them, starting with the Jackson as a test project and then moving onto the Gibson, and then giving them a nice oiled finish.
Any hints, tips or advice?

MAGIC!
Didn't find it on the search though!

I came in thinking "I've refinished an Explorer...", but Philly's beat me to it.
Still glad I did it, I was playing it at the weekend.

Show us the pics when you're on the way with it. :)

I will! I'll do the Kelly first and then the Gibbo.

What'll you do if the timber turns out to be really ugly? Carry on anyway, or spray 'em black?

STICKERS!

Or wrapping?

Surely you've got a bed you could hide it under?
